PURPOSE: |
| Membership | To encourage and increase membership on the local chapter as well as the national organization. |
| E-Communications (Website) | To build an interactive platform that helps to promote efficiency within public works organizations through sharing of information using electronic media. |
| Scholarship and Awards | To acknowledge and reward outstanding contributions of members of APWA to the local communities and to the science and technology of public works, utilities and engineering. |
| Training/Education | To develop a promotional program to encourage APWA South Florida Chapter members to utilize an educational program that includes a "train the trainer" process and certification to meet continuing education requirements. |
| Host City | To find a Host City for the Quarterly Luncheon Meeting. |
| Intergovernmental Relations | To achieve better relationships with APWA and all the Cities and Governments involved. |
Sponsorship and Event Planning |
The Events Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, planning and organizing all events. In addition, find sponsors for the events. |
